These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StreamBase platform (the "Service") operated by StreamBase ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StreamBase is a platform that enables viewers to send monetary tips ("Tips") to content creators ("Streamers") during or outside of live streams. We facilitate the connection between viewers and streamers and process payments through our payment partner, Razorpay.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are liable for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Payments and Transactions

• All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
• By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's Terms of Use.
• Tips are voluntary and made at the sole discretion of the viewer.
• StreamBase charges a platform fee on each transaction. The applicable fee will be displayed before you confirm a payment.
• All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

5. Refund Policy

• Tips are generally non-refundable once successfully processed, as they are voluntary contributions.
• Refund requests for unauthorized or fraudulent transactions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• To request a refund, contact us at support@streambase.in within 7 days of the transaction.
• Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
• StreamBase reserves the right to deny refund requests that do not meet our refund criteria.

6. Streamer Payouts

• Streamers are eligible to receive payouts for tips collected through the platform.
• Payouts are processed on a regular schedule (details available in the Streamer Dashboard).
• StreamBase deducts the applicable platform fee before disbursing payouts.
• Streamers are responsible for any applicable taxes on their earnings.
• We reserve the right to withhold payouts in cases of suspected fraud or policy violations.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Engage in fraudulent transactions, chargebacks, or payment manipulation.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Distribute harmful, abusive, defamatory, or offensive content.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without authorization.
• Engage in money laundering or any form of financial fraud.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and software associated with StreamBase are our intellectual property or that of our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• StreamBase is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you to StreamBase in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not responsible for any issues arising from Razorpay's payment processing services.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StreamBase, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, India. We encourage users to contact us first to resolve disputes amicably.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
